1622-1671m/5320-5480ft. Joshua tree woodland and
pinyon-juniper woodland on flats; with Prunus fasciculatus,
Eriogonum wrightii, E. plumatella, E.fasciculatum var. polifol.,
Ericameria nauseosa, Ephedra nevadensis, Quercus john-tuckeri,
Purshia glandulosa, etc.

Uncommon annual; fls. cream-yellow (anthers).
