Growing on east-facing slope of mosquito infested knoll along ridge running south-southeast. Nestled among quartzite rock with visible soil with Deplhinium, Amelanchier, Boechera, Toxicoscordion.

Description
White/cream bracts. Calyx more deeply divided at back than front. Parasitic on Artemisia.
