ft., open alpine grassy, S-facing, 15%
slope.

20% moss and 40% other vegetative cover,
10% rock. The dominants: Car ex pseudo-
scirpoidea, Dryas octopetala, Poa alpina.
Polygonum bistortoides, also with Cas-
tilleja pulchella, Gentiana algida,
Oxytropis campestris, Poa arctica, p.
glauca, Festuca ovina.

Flowers yellow.
