High "mata de cipó" forest, with mixed deciduous and evergreen trees and dense understorey on deep loamy soil.

Description
Woody scrambler to 4 m. wiht recurved spines, reddish at tip. Leaflets pale green, Flower heads cream, fragrant. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.
