Achillea borealie Bong.

JUNEAU ICEFIELD: Approximately 4 miles north-
west of Camp 26 (FGER) on Marble Mountain Nuna-
tak. Elevation approximately 5,200', just
above meltwater pond within dense vegetation
in relatively deep soil high in organics and
with scattered rock material. Pm low grade
metamorphics and metasediments. On steep
lower mid-slope with a south-southwest aspect.
Occasional, with Ep-ilobium latifolia, SaVix
spp., and Artemisia arotica. Heads with
white rays, yellow discs. Plants possibly
weakly rhiz.
