Habitat: cienega, very salty area.

Associated spp: Salix gooddingii, Schoenoplectus americanus,
Lythrum califomicum, Cephalanthus occidentalis, Ambrosia
Psilostachya, Sporobolus wrightii, Juncus acrticus var. balticus,
Eleocharis palustris. Aster pauciflorus.

Notes: Perennial herb 120 cm, rays purple, discs yellow, common in
cienega, not found elsewhere in SPRNCA
