Description
Vine over cyclone fence, a number of healthy plants here. Standard light yellow-green; wing petals an odd dull, dark red, and becoming darker as they wilt, but never to the purple-black of M. atropurpureum which is very dark at all stages (see no. 48380); the flowers have turned very dark purple on drying, so flower color on herbarium specimens will not be reliable. Fruit green, then brown, many opening in the press.
