section 02 NW1/4 of NW1/4. Elevation 300 m.

Annually mowed mesic upland tallgrass prairie remnant on W and
S sides of cemetery, bordered by weedy oak-hickory forest. Gentle
SW-facing slope. Sandy loam soil.

Common along perimeter. Plants to 1 m high. Rays lavender. Also
collected at this site: Aster ericoides L var. ericoides, A.
oolentangiensis var. oolentangiensis, and A. pilosus.
