Georeferencing Method
Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Assumed "Tambaqui" to be Lago do Tambaqui, a small lake off of Rio Javari in Atalaia do Norte, Amazonas. Georeferenced to the geographic center of Lago do Tambaqui. Using Google Maps - Satellite View, located Lago do Tambaqui. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates of the approximate geographic center of the lake, along the adjacent northern shore towards the direction of Rio Javari. Used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to find the linear extent by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of the lake. Used linear extent as the uncertainty radius.
