Savannah River; recently clear-cut. Site #96 (Lat.
3ii<>02»35"; Long. 82°36»39"), ea. 2.5 miles south of
the S. C. 72 bridge over the Savannah River. Below
the U75-ft. contour (full pool for proposed Russell
Lake). Area to be impounded mid-1980's.
