Wisconsin, Richland Co., edge of floodplain woods with
Acer saccharinum, Betula nigra, Quercus bicolor, sandy soil,
near boat ramp and parking area, Garner Lake.

T 8 N; R 2 W; SE % sect. 4.

43° 11’44”N, 90°36’31”W alt. 200 m.

Clumps of plants 1.2 m. tall. Rays white; disc yellow, then
purple. If the same species as 58151 and 58173 of riverbottom
forests, then these at the sunny edge are much more robust and
conspicuous when in flower.
