Hwy 120. (Cowtrack Mtn. quad: 37° 53.141'N, 118° 50.171'W;
T1S R28E SI, NW/4 of SE/4). Alt.: 2341m/7680ft.

Perennial spring on E-facing granitic and pumice slope. Heavily
grazed area with nearby corral. Artemisia tridentata / Purshia
tridentata scrub on slopes all around. Springside with Rosa
woodsii, Mimulus gutattus, Salix, Aquilegia, Rorippa, Urtica,
Cirsium.

Occasional streamside, to 2m high.
