Lat. 088° 44’ 48.4” W. Long. T. 38N, R. 4E, NE1/4 NE1/4 SW1/4 SECT. 14. Waterman. Between highway right-of-way and active railroad (Chicago, Burlington and Quincy) tracks. At ridge along utility line. 0.4 miles east of junction of Illinois Route 23 and U.S. Route 30; south side. Waterman 7.5 min. quadrangle. Elevation 750-800 feet. Dark clay-loam. Mesic railroad prairie remnant, with Andropogon gerardii, Sorghastrum nutans, Sporobolus juncea, Aster laevigatus.
