BRITISH COLUMBIA, about 5 mi E of
Golden on Hwy. 1
On N-facing roadbank near falls;
moist, loose soil? below aspen,
fir, spruce.
Rays pale blue-lavender; basal
and lower stem leaves abruptly
cntracted to a winged petiole that
is dilated at the base and auricu-
late. Apparently close to Aster
subspicatus.
