    Secondary woods with Betula populifolia, Populus deltoides, Liquidambar, Acer rubrum, Sassafras, Celtis, Juniperus, Quercus palustris and a few Ailanthus and Paulownia, the understory dominated by Smilax rotundifolia, Reynoutria japonica and Lonicera japonica.
