    Treeland and grassland habitats at treeline. Extensive bogs present. Boulders are mostly granitical. . Woodlands consist of Hersperomeles, Hiconia, Barnadesia, Baccharis, etc., and mosses in extensive sheets over bare cliffs. Hard turf bog with muddy, heavily grazed flushes. Sphagnun magellanicim-Breutelia spp. abundant in upper part. Filling up base of grass hummock which is surrounded by boggy area.
