North aspect; meadow - Artemisia tridentata vaseyana community interface. Locally common.

Description
Plants rhizomatous; Note: plants with glumes slightly broadened above the base, spikelets only purplish-tinged, foliage not pilose, some pilose hairs at nodes, lemmas glabrous except for some scabrosity on nerves. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
