Zea mays L. subsp. parviglumis var. parviglumis
litis and Doebley

Large populations in thickets along road and in
sunny arroyos and open woodland on rocky, grassy
slopes with 2-3m tall grasses (teosinte!) and
Compositae at km 100 on México Highway #51 ca. 2
km W of Las Ceibitas on road from Iguala (km 1)
to Arcelia (km 125), ca. 24 km (by air) W of
Teloloapan, 7-8 km W of Acapetlahuaya. Region
of semi-deciduous savanna of leguminosae,

Bursera spp., Pseudomodingium perniciosum and
tree Ipomoea.
