This is very nearly the same place where this species
collected on 14 Oct. 1972 under no. Nee 5422, and on 5
Oct. 1981 under no. Nee 22063.

Common in very young plantation of Pinus strobus and P.
resinosa, the trees yet small and forming only a small cover,
in sandy, formerly grassy, partly prairie area between gravel
road and the railroad, just N of the large pits for extraction
of sand and gravel.
