Idaho Co. Nez Perce National Forest. Clearwater Mountains.

12 miles S of Grangeville along the Grangeville-Salmon Road
#221, near Cayuse Meadows. T29N, R3E, SE Sec 34. Soils
basalt, aspect E, slope 10%, elev. 5200 ft. Small man-made pond
adjacent to mixed conifer forest (Pseudotsuga mensiezii, Abies
bifolia, Pinus contorta) and basalt-scab opening. Plants common,
growing as aquatic emergent at edge of pond. Assoc. Typha
latifolia, Rorippa curvisilique, Sparganium angustifolium.
