ft.; in loose sand; with Muhlenbergia
pungens, Salsola pauisenii, Oryzopsis
hymenoides, Senecio longilobus,

Chrysothamnus nauseosus, on dune sand,
frequent.

Small clumps; plants ranging from 3 dm.
tall and very spindly to the size of this
specimen.

In close association with SL contractus
