Sphenopholis nitlda (Biehler) Scribner
On south-facing slope along stream flowing west into
the Rocky River; mixed pine-hardwoods. Site #38
(Lat. 34°06'36"; Long. 82°36'47"), about 1.75 miles
due northwest of junction of S. C. 81 and S. C. 72
in town of Calhoun Falls, S. C.; about 3 miles due
east of the Savannah River. Below the 475-ft. contour
(full pool for the proposed Russell Lake)
