RUSSELL DAM AND LAKE AREA GEORGIA Sphenopholis nitida (Biehler) Scribner On steep, very high, northeast-facing, hardwood slope along intermittent stream flowing south into Beaverdam Creek. Site #37 (Lat. 34°05'25"; Long. 82°40'40"), about 0.75 mile north of County Road 244 bridge over Beaverdam Creek; about 1.5 miles due west of the Savannah River.
