Lat. 088° 45’ 56.3” W. Long. T. 38N, R. 4E, SE1/4
NW1/4 SECT. 15 Waterman. Between highway
right-of-way and active railroad tracks, east side of
town, south side of U.S. Route 30. Waterman 7.5 min.
quadrangle. Elevation about 800 feet. Alkaline, moist to
wet clay - loam.

Wet-mesic prairie remnant along old powerline bed.
Locally common robust colonial grass 1.5 meter tall,
primarily in low-lying drainage areas.
