Description
30 cm up to 2 meters tall herbaceous to shruby, soft brown hair covered leaves and stems, flowers are attached at base of leaf near the top of the plant, flowers are red violet with green tips, fruits are red-violet turning blue as they mature, the fruits have a fleshy round base and open at the top. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
