Habitat: alluvial mesquite terrace transitioning into whitethorn-
creosote desertscrub.

Associated spp: Prosopis velutina, Larrea tridentata, Acacia
constricta, Isocoma tenuisecta, Argemone pleiacantha, Yucca elata,
Rivina humilis, Datura wrightii, Ziziphus obtusifoiia, Celtis reticulata.
Notes: Perennial bunchgrass, common
