    Broadleaf forest. Lithocarpus, Castanopsis acuminatissima, Anisoptera thurifera. gregarious. On soil.

  • Description

    Pileus 3-5.5 cm broad, convex, dry, areoalte but subvelutinous on areoles, white between areoles, with areoles a pale chocolate brown (7E6) to darker brown (7F6).. Flesh white, unchanging, up to 8 mm deep. Tubes deeply depressed around stipe, up to 1 cm deep, pinkish brown (7D5-4), slowly 7A4-7A6; pores at first white, then 7D5-4, angular, up to 1 mm broad. Stipe 6-6.5 cm long, 3-7 mm broad, equal, strict or barely curved; surface dry, white, with fine dark brown scabrous ridges to finely scabrous reticulate; interior white, pale orange pink (7A4) at base, changing to pale yellow up to apex.
