Habitat
Sand seep community in low interdune area in opening in Juniperus osteosperma-Artemisa filifoia community. Soil moist, sandy (fed by seep). Locally dominated by Salix lasiolepsis, Juncus arcticus, J. ensifolius var. brunnescens, J. bufonius, Gnaphalium, Mimetanthe, Ambrosia. Vegetative cover 80-90%.
