    Perennial, stiffly erect dwarf shrub 30-50 cm high. Compound leaves, glabrous, alternate , deep green above and silvery below, entire leaf margin. Flowers paired in leaf axils, lilac calyx, pubescent. Fruit a pubescent (wooly) caramel pod, 30 x 10 cm. Phenology of specimen: Flower and Fruit.
