Phragmites contrrunis Trin.
Minn., Houston Co., Site 39, marshy area on the cuter
bend of a small slow slough in the forested delta of the
Root River, a beaver dam blocked the slough and inpounded
the water supporting the marsh; a mixture of emergent
species. Abundant in patches in back of marsh more
toward alluvial area.
