Habitat
Deep sand. Sand prairie remnant with Arenaria serpyllifolia, Rubus, Commelina erecta, Dichanthelium spp., Leptoloma, Monarda punctata, Opuntia humifusa. ; Rather common perennial grass in open sand of sand prairie.
