Hairs of awn 5. to 9 mm. long, those at base
shorter, terminating abruntly below the bend.
Callus with long sharp glabrous point. Anther-
cell s pointed at apex. Lemma 10 mm. long,
evenly hairy. Glumes 17-21 mm. Awn 4 cm.
