section 3; elevation ca. 6360-6530 feet.
Ridgetop with disturbed Pinus monophylla woodland,
with scattered shrubs such as Fremontodendron californi-
cum, Quercus john-tuckeri, Cercocarpus betuloides, Cea-
nothus greggii vestitus, Chrysothamnus nauseosus, etc.
Densely tufted herbaceous perennial; scattered on the
granitic ridgetop.
