On terrace along small stream flowing south into
Beaverdam Creek which flows east into the Savannah
River; sheltered by steep, northeast-facing slope;
area recently logged. Site #69 (Lat. 34°05'02";
Long. 82°40,11"), about 0.25 mile northwest of Co. Rd.
244 bridge over Beaverdam Creek. Area to be flooded by
impoundment of Savannah River in mid-1980's.
