POACEAE
Herbs to 6in tall, occasional. Growing in a relatively low-nutrient
fen on black muck in full sun. With more common Calopogon
associates: Aster (Oclemena) nemoralis, Dulichium
arundinaceum, Rhynchospora alba. Sphagnum papillosum,
Vaccinium macrocarpon. Occasional Calopogon associates:
Drosera intermedia, Eriophorum virginicum, Sphagnum
carolinianum, S. lescurii. Uncommon Calopogon associates:
Lycopus uniflorus, Sagittaria latifolia, Sarracenia purpurea. Rare
Calopogon associates: Spiraea tomentosa, Viola lanceolata,
Xyris montana. To the E. side of Dead Stream, about 0.8mi SE of
4lh Machias Lake and around lOmi WSW of the town of Grand
Lake Stream. Township T5 ND BPP, Washington Co. Elev.
