United States of America. Nevada. Clark Co. Mojave Desert: Pahrump Valley, along Old Spanish Trail Hwy, Tecopa Rd. near Calif. state line, near top of low rise. (Stump Spring: 7.5' Q: 35 58 34.4" N, 115 51 16.6" W ± 100 m.).

Habitat
Gently wets sloping terrain; whitish Pleistocene lake sediments among low mesquite-covered dunes, powdery loose soil; desert scrub with Atriplex canescens, Ambrosia dumosia, & Schismus arabicus. Mostly on bladed roadside and some in adjacent scrub. Locally common.

Description
Perennial, fls. light purple, c. 150plants, many ascending to erect stems from base of mature ones, foliage with strong selenium stink. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
