Cultivated ornamentals. These large clump grasses are being planted by the city parks department for ornament. Dense clump, near no. 55978 of th« same species, but this clump only about 1 m. tall, no. 55978 is 1.3 m. tall, the difference apparently not because of growing conditions. Coll.: M.
