Steep hillsides among shrubs and small trees, 15—16 km southeast of
Aserradero Dos Aguas and nearly west of Aguililla, on tumbled and
eroded sharp-toothed limestone rocks, elevation 1400-1450 m.
Abundant.
Culms ud to 2 m high, in clumps; foliage
odorous, viscid; inflorescence reddish
with white short apical plume.
