Winston Ranch. 29°13'26"N 99°28'02”W (determined by GPS). Elevation 800-830 ft. Tamaulipan brush land on moderate, rocky, E-facing slope above Sabinal River and shaded bank of river. Prosopis glandulosa, Acacia berlandieri, and Diospyros texana dominant on slope, with frequent surfacing limestone. Taxodium distichum dominant along river.
