Deep W-E canyon running parallel to Hwy 120, cutting through
Bishop tuff rhyolite. Heavily grazed canyon bottom with dry
stream and soft pumice / rhyolite soil. With Pinus monophylla,
small P. jeffryi, Salix, Artemisia tridentata, Chrysothamnus
viscidiflorus, C. nauseosus, Purshia tridentata, Tetradymia
canescens, Cryptantha confertiflora, Hesperostipa comata.
Scattered on rocky slopes and canyon bottom.
