Abundant and dominant (?) grass on slight N aspect along ridge separating Christian Gulch from Rock Springs Canyon, elevation ca 9700' T12N R22E S33 NW^. Soil well developed, rocky, derived from a gray limestone. Also present are Castilleja covilleana, Luplnus argenteus, Poa secunda. Pits forming grassland ca 200' above upper tlmberline.
