U.S.G.S. quadrangle. Elevation about 340 feet.
Mississippi River floodplain. Disturbed wet silty
sand; alluvial deposits.
Margin of rice paddy, Oryza sativa, Bacopa
rotundifolia, Hetercmthera limosa, Leptochloa spp.,
Echinochloa spp.. Occasional to locally common few
to single-stemmed annual grass, spikes pale green,
glaucous, often purplish-pink. In mud, rice field
margins.
