Vegetation: open scrub to closed low woodland in the drier areas. Alt. ca.900m. Approx. W-°02'W, 11°38'S. Shrub to 3m with widely-spreading viciously spiny stems. Leaflets rather dark glossy green above, pale beneath. Calyx and corolla pale greenish-white. Stamens white with dark anthers. Pods glossy green, twisted, tinged red. 2.3.77 R M Harley 1923V 00442593
