Description
Approaching P. calcarea in character of perigonial leaves. Inmost [ones] with an elongated, though slightly obtuse, point; costa usually distinct to apex. The forms of the perigonial leaves have much more in common with P. calcarea (as exhibited in European specimens) than with P. fontana. There is something distinctive, too, in color & habit. See Kindberg's work, vars. of P. fontana & P. acutifolia. Phenology of specimen: Sporangia.
