Description
Shrub, 3 m. Leaves sriking magenta abaxially; petioles sulcate above, ripple-winged below along median; peduncles, pedicels, hypanthium, calyx purple; flowers 5-merous; calyx foliaceous, white margined, overlapping; corolla purple, relfexed, emarginate; filaments and thecae purple, anther apex yellow, thecae strongly curved; style pink, stigma white, capitate; ovary 3/4 inferior, crowned; mature fruit deep purple. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
