Habitat
Weedy, upland tallgrass prairie, with scattered Maclura pomifera and Ulmus rubra, and mesic Quercus muhlenbergii forest along edge of prairie and on slopes above Wakarusa River floodplain. Common. Frequent surfacing limestone.
