Habitat
Dry deciduous thorn forest dominated by Aspidosperma, Schinopsis and Chorisia.

Description
Shrub to small tree up to 3 m tall. At times with much basal branching. Older plants mostly leafless, young shoots full of leaves. Petals yellow with a tinge of orange. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
