    Unshaded weeds area along sidewalk, with Plantago major, Capsella bursa-pastoris, Cirsium arvense, Polygonum cuspidatum, Chenopodium album, Artemisia vulgaris.

  • Description

    Seemingly common but each plant with up to ca. 150 stems in a dense clump from one annual root system, the stems decumbent at base but not rooting along stems. This species has only been noticed here until recently and it is not present in similar weedy habitats nearby, nor is it present on the adjacent New York Botanical Garden grounds.
