Common rhizom- atous perennial forming small, loose tufts on desert pavement and m dry wash with Hymenoclea salsola, Atriplex confertifolia, Eriogonum inflatum, Erioneuron pulchellum, Dalea, and Oryzopsis hymenoid.es.
