Grass paramo with some shrubs. On exposed embankment. Locally common.

Description
Prostrate shrublet to 10 cm, leaves discolorous, mid-green glossy above, paler and dull below; calyces mid-green, petals creamish white, becoming pink, filaments golden-yellow; young fruits purplish. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
